Welcome to the Track

Gates open at 11am with full bar and tote facilities available at this time.

 

Admission

Midweek admission is free of charge, feature race meetings vary. Please see event link information on the website or follow us on Facebook for regular updates. Please note the Northam Racecourse is a licenced venue so strictly NO BYO alcohol is permitted and all under 18 year olds must be accompanied by their legal guardian at all times.

 

Dress Code

Our minimum requirement is neat casual dress code in all public areas. Strictly no bare feet are permitted on-course.

 

Getting Here

Driving? The racecourse is located on the Eastern Border of the Town on Yilgarn Avenue directly across the road from the Caravan Park. You can make your way through the town or via the bypass road. Northam is a pleasant 60 minute drive east of the Perth Metro area on Great Eastern Highway.

Public Transport? Transwa offer both bus and train services daily to Northam. See website www.transwa.com.au for information and bookings.

The Club boasts a comfortable racecourse with ample lawned areas for racegoers to enjoy a picnic; a welcoming café where racegoers tastebuds are tempted and a well appointed members enclosure and grandstand with sweeping views of neighbouring farmland.

Fancy some special treatment? We offer “Day at the Races” packages for groups of 10 or more at our midweek race meetings, please contact our office for more information.

Lindsay and his staff will make sure that you don’t leave the races hangry.

Having a function or looking to feed a large group then we have the catering packages that will fit any budget.

The Club hosts approximately 22 race meetings per year from May to December. The majority of race dates are held midweek on either Wednesday or Thursday. There are five feature weekend race meetings throughout the year that are abundant with on-course entertainment, fashions and of course some of WA’s best galloping action on the track.
