It hasn’t taken long for Peter Knuckey to return to the winners list following the win of Numerous Crimes at Northam on Sunday.
Knuckey, who has just returned to Western Australia following a six-month riding stint in Singapore, steered Numerous Crimes to victory in the Zig Zag Fashions Maiden (1600m).
The Stan Bates-trained filly has been racing in consistent fashion of late and deserved her victory over Scenic Spree and Verissimo to take her record to one win and two third placings from four career starts.
Knuckey returned to racing at Belmont on Saturday with the one mount aboard Danebeela who was placed fifth of six in the Pindan Handicap that was won so impressively by the unbeaten Hay List.
Knuckey’s stint in Singapore included nine wins and 32 placings from 156 rides with his best victory the Group 3 win of the Hornet in the Four-Year-Old Mile.
